Objectives: This study was designed to investigate the effects of BSKE on the change of weight and serum level in obese mice induced by high fat diet.
Methods: We fed normal group fed normal diet and administered DDW 0.2ml for 7 weeks, control group fed high fat diet and administered DDW 0.2ml for 7 weeks, sample A group fed high diet and administered BSKE 300§·/§¸ 0.2ml for 7 weeks, sample B group fed high diet and administered BSKE 500§·/§¸ 0.2ml for 7 weeks.
Result: BSKE significantly decreased body weight, serum total cholesterol level, serum free fatty acid level and serum total lipid level in comparison with control group. BSKE decreased serum LDL-cholesterol level, serum triglyceride level and serum phospholipid level in comparison with control group. BSKE increased serum HDL-cholesterol level in comparison with control group.
Conclusions: The cause of obesity is so diverse. Of them, mental fatigue and constitutional characteristic are important. So, BSKE is meaningful because it can treat stress and excretion.
